If you have the time, comfy PJs and looser clothing can help. Chocolate in small amounts is seen to improve and comfort. Hot water bottles are great for easing it and warming you, if not possible try lillet heat pads or cream, which you put on your lower stomach and they do the same thing, but you can't see them under your clothes. Paracetamol can help, if you are requiring something stronger, see your GP as there are other stronger painkillers which are specifically designed for period pains, the pill may help in some cases or a change in pill. Similarlyif your periods are heavy and hence more painful make an appointment to see your doctor and just get it checked up.

Go see your doctor to see if your iron levels are low. I suffered for years with it i'd be in agony for hours and then pass out from the pain. Eventually I went to the doctor and they took a blood test and told me my iron levels were low so prescribed me supplements to take. Now the worst I ever feel is a slight discomfort around that time but its made such a difference. Alot of girls are probably unaware that this is all you need to do to stop it. Taking magnesium is meant to help too. And another thing I find is to avoid coffee the week before and during as it takes vitamins zinc and iron from your body x
