Grind them up and then mix with jam or something else sweet on a teaspoon.

Cut the tablet in two halves and then put each half in a small, soft centred chocolate. It spoils the kid but it gets the job done and even better they can then take the chocolates to school and take their own tablet at lunchtime.

Two ideas:
1) Have your child eat it with something thick like pudding so they can't feel it as it goes down their throat.
2) Practice with tic-tacs.

My Mom made it a game and let me practice with mini M&Ms and then regular M&Ms. I was taking pills like a professional in no time!

Get the child to drink from a bottle when taking the tablet. That will force them to put their neck back and open their throat when swallowing. Good for adults too!
