If you have moles in your garden cut open a whole head of fresh garlic, drop it down the hole and cover it up and the mole will move on!

Bury some wine bottles near to the tunnels up to a few inches short of the rim, try and make sure they're fairly level. Apparently they can't stand the noise the wind makes when it blows across them.

The only thing that worked for us were these poison grubs that we bought at the DIY store. We were using the poison peanuts, but Moles eat insects, not nuts! So...consequently a few squirrels died in the process. Anyway, the poison grubs DO work and I highly recommend them. Tomcat Mole Killer is the brand we used. If not available in your country, try a mole trap with plunger. I dont like the cleanup afterwards...but that works too!

We bought a thing that you spike into the ground and it sends out a low vibrating noise which deters moles (we call it the Mole-Squeaker) and so far, touch wood, it seems very effective. You can get battery-operated or solar models.
