You can't lose weight just from your legs (okay - you could with surgery, but I'm assuming you don't want to go that route.) Spot reducing isn't possible; you have to loose weight all around to lose weight in your legs. That being said, I highly recommend jumping rope - really. It's great aerobic exercise and helps tone your legs while helping you lose weight.
