I am not sure if this will help you or not, but I always try to remind myself of why I am exercising and dieting. My main reasons are usually: to feel proud of myself, to feel better about myself, and of course a new person that I am trying to impress. At first, results never show as I am aware of, but the boost that results from exercise can change one's mood dramatically and is a good thing to think about until visual effects form.

you could find an old pic of yourself that you liked the way you looked in the pic and compare it to the way you look now. put the pic on the fridge where you will always see it when you go to the fridge
