I had my 16th with a party at my house, about forty people came and it was a lot of fun. I cleared away everything that could break/stain and created zones, e.g for eating, dancing etc. Altogether the event ran smoothly. However, as this was my first proper house party, it was a lot of stress to prepare. I have decided that I will not have one again, not because I didn't enjoy it, but that I barely saw anyone at my own party! Next year I think a dinner party, say, 12 of my closest friends, a bottle of champagne and some lovely music for a sophisticated evening. Really hope this helps! xx
