Place tissue paper on top of the fabric where ever you plan to make a fold. Only use white tissue paper! You don't want any colors bleeding into your clothes!! Where possible roll, don't make unnecessary folds. Example: place long sleeve shirt face-down; put tissue paper on top (now, the back); fold one arm and 1/3 of the shirt back towards the middle of the shirt(creasing the tissue): repeat with the other arm and 1/3; roll -- don't fold! -- the entire shirt (now 1/3 it's original width) and place in suitcase. Hang clothes until the last possible minute before packing and unpack ASAP!

Rolling is the best way, but in case you do get creases Marks and Spencer's sell a travel iron for about £5. It's really small so takes up barely any space but means you can just quickly iron out creases if you have any!
