Depends on the dress. If the dress is quite plain, go for curls, maybe with some delicate earrings OR a necklace (not both, would be too much). If you have your hair up, make it soft, not slicked back! Maybe have a few soft curls loose to frame your face.
If the dress is detailed, patterened etc, i'd suggest going for 'calmer' hair - maybe an up do or straight with a bit of body in it. Hope this helps!

Well, first make sure that however you wear it, you feel comfy to make up for those niggling worries everyone has about wearing strapless dresses! Secondly, if its a formal do you are going to, I'd say either a smart chignon up-do, or if you can be a bit more relaxed, a half-up, half-down style with layers left around your face to both frame and soften your features. If its just a strapless summer dress to a casual do, like a BBQ, why not wear your hair in a clean ponytail, or else down and textured? Summer do's are generally better the more natural and less 'done' they look. Try plaiting your hair the night before and then combing it out next day with your fingers for a wavy look.

I would wear mine down, try it in curls even if it is sholder length and put a cute hair pin in it or something, wavy hair looks very elagent and sexy espessialy if its long . I would try all those to see what i feel comfortable with plus what suits the dress too.
