I suggest popping into your local hair salon. They'll have a range of hair colour charts and will be able to advise you on the best one to go for, taking in account your skin tone and eye colour. And if it's too expensive you can always say you need to go away and think about it. If you're planning on a dramatic colour change (I think red might be nice!) you should really think about getting it done professionally.
I am very pale skinned, and my natural hair colour is kind of light gingery brown, what colour hair dye would suit me?

are you sure you want to dye your hair? it is a darned expensive, time-consuming biz, and once you start you are committed for life! (i should know!) how about having a professional make-up lesson instead? (Mac and Bobbi Brown are both excellent.) your hair colour sounds beautiful to me - maybe you just need a super make-up to effect the change you are after?

If you are very pale, please dont go too dark. why not try a semi permanant colour that washes out in about 6 washes, or go to the salon and maybe have some highlights or lowlights put in.

The best idea are subtle highlights which will actually make you look less pale. Also I recommend Nars Orgasm blush. It makes everyone look healthier.
