I have troubles with this one at times to. And silence, definatly creates akwardness. You could try playing the 20 questions game. or just start asking him questions about his interests and hobbies. You can create many conversations out of that, after all most people love talking about themselves lol. Hope this helps!
I find it hard to keep conversation going wih this guy who I like a lot. At times I get shy, so I come across as a quiet shy girl.
