You can't control how he acts only how you act. Give yourself a good cry then say I feel like this isn't important to you and it is to me. I feel sorry for you that you will not get to see it. Because I will always remember the first time I saw our baby and get to them when they are older just how fanastic it was to see them.
I'm 13 weeks pregnant & my boyfriend is going away when we are due to have the first scan. I feel he doesn't care, what should I do?

I don't think that he doesn't care. I don't think he understands. No one really understands what it is like to go through pregnancy, especially men. They see these as a doctors check up, nothing significant. Not all men, but some. Try to explain to him how you feel without getting very emotional and show him how important these things are to you and why.
