Assuming that in implant is the same as the coil, then I would recommend it highly. All my pain disappeared.
I'm thinking of getting the implant. I'm currently on the pill to reduce really bad period pains, but the implant might be easier! Any suggestions?

I'm pretty sure that if you are on the pill to reduce period pains then the implant will make it worse, as it doesn't work in the same way as the pill and can actually make your periods longer and heavier

The implant is put into your upper arm, it's a different thing to the coil/IUD.

My dr kept raving on an on about the implant, as luck would have it I became pregnant before I was able to give it a go, but I have heard very mixed responses from people. Ranging from how wonderful it was to severe PMT! Have you tried using the mini-pill? If your hesitant about using to implant why not speak to your doctor about giving the mini-pill a whirl?

I have had the implant for 4 years and am on my second one as you have it replaced every 3 years. I am so glad this is around now and will only use it from now on. I haven't got the worry of taking a pill every day and forgetting it or not being safe while on antibiotics. I have not had hardly any side effects from it and as I am not having any more children it is ideal. It is definitely worth considering.
