I think the common denominator in attraction is finding someone who can do things that a friend could not. A good sense of humour, intelligence and friendliness are all things we seek in friendships, but the question is why would we choose to be with one person in a more personal, special way? I think men still look for traditional female qualities such as well-kept appearance and a caring nature, but there will always be an untouchable, indescribable spark with the right person. It will be something you would never have shortlisted as a reason to be attractive!

What an interesting question! So easy to generalise and say something like 'they're only interested in one thing'. However, speaking as a mature person who has been out with a few chaps in my time, I would say that it's very much down to the individual- some might want an uncomplicated part- time sort of relationship, others might want something more committed. I have known girls who are not particularly attractive, and yet have managed to land themselves some decent guys- so it's not always just about physical attractiveness. My advice is to be yourself and eventually somebody will come along who likes you for who you are,

It really does depend on the guy and what they look for. Each is different. They are like us in alot of ways, I mean if you ask your female friends, what they loook for in a bloke, I bet most of them will all say different answers, some say, they have to have a good sense of humour, others say, nice body, others may say, kind caring etc, this also goes for men, my boyfriend loves the fact Im abit boyish, i love my cars, I love watching horror movies, I can hang with the lads, yet Im girly, I get my nails does and have my make up etc, my ex before him was different, he loves that I cook, and that I have a sense of humour and sometimes shy. It really depends on the person, but enjoy it, men love that we're like a mystery.
