About Me
I'm a Canadian-American living in the San Francisco area. If it wasn't already obvious from my posts, I'm well into my 40's. When I'm not a financial planning software trainer, I'm a pirate. I sail, fire black powder armaments and fight with edged weapons. I frighten small children whenever possible. I also make the best rum cake on earth (trust me on this one...) My name is actually Jill. My better half's name is Jack - he's a pirate too. And there is NO SUCH THING as spot-reducing. Short of surgery, there's no way to get rid of fat in just one area of the body. Seriously. No kidding. Really. Truly.

O Brother Where Art Thou, Amelie, Shawshank Redemption, Master and Commander, Long Kiss Goodnight, Persuasion, Enchanted April, Galaxy Quest, the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang, The Shipping News, the LOTC movies, Mystery Men. A short list, off the top of my head.
